Strive Together in the Gospel

Greetings Hip Fellows,

I apologize for my absence over the last few weeks. I regret to tell you that my fellowship with God and others has been poor lately. Busy-ness and tiredness has kept me back. God did bless me, however, w/ some Sunday School prep time in Philippians today(I know it may seem like that’s my primary focus these days.)

Paul’s heart for the Philippians is HUGE. Only the Spirit can give such love for others. We need to pray for one another – that God might work in our hearts to care for our “fellows” in such a gospel-saturated way. This is a God thing. We can’t work it up. May God give us joy as we strive together in the gospel. God always finishes what He starts (v. 6) Don’t quit. God loves you and your fellows need you.

In the Gospel,

Patrick J.
